Aviation Environment Federation
The Aviation Environment Federation is a UK NGO campaigning on the environmental impacts of aviation. The key areas they focus on are CO2 emissions, noise impacts, air pollution, biodiversity, and public health. AEF has published a number of guides on their website, including one covering the legislative and policy framework for airport-related planning. The website also includes an airport tracker covering the latest news and updates on recent and current airport expansion plans.
AirportWatch is an umbrella organisation, formed in 2000. It campaigns for a demand management approach to aviation, keeping aviation emissions within UK national targets. They believe that Government policies to expand aviation can and should be resisted.
