Scottish Environment Protection Agency
SEPA is Scotland’s principal environmental regulator, protecting and improving Scotland’s environment.
As a non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government, their role is to make sure that the environment and human health are protected, to ensure that Scotland’s natural resources and services are used as sustainably as possible and contribute to sustainable economic growth.

The Association for the Protection of Rural Scotland
APRS promotes the care of all of Scotland's rural landscapes, from the Green Belt around towns and cities out to the forests, hills and mountains.
As an independent charity, they strive to be an authoritative voice which makes good things happen in rural Scotland and combats threats to damage it.
