Our Community on Twitter

Did you know that the Community Planning Alliance came about because a group of like-minded people got together on Twitter?
Passionate about the environment, we are part of a rapidly growing, influential and supportive group; the key being to like, re-tweet and follow each other, up and down the land (its not just in my back yard!).
We can be recognised by the 🍃💚🍃 'flag' on our names, to show our support for #nature, #countryside, #wildlife, #trees, and #landscapes.

As CPA Committee Member, Kevin, explains in the video below, there are now hundreds of Twitter accounts who have added the 🍃💚🍃 flag to their names and more are joining us every day. Which means there is always someone from the community online, 24/7, ready to respond to a Tweet, dispell a myth and show others what a large groundswell of support there is for countryside and greenspace protection.
You can follow the conversation by:
  1. Typing 🍃💚🍃 into the Twitter search bar;
  2. Selecting the 'People' tab;
  3. Scrolling down and hitting the 'Follow' buttons.
And you can join us by adding (or copying and pasting) the 🍃💚🍃 emojis to your Twitter name too!
